WEDDINGS   CAPTURED   WITH   A FILMMAKER'S   EYE

 'For the past 15 years, I’ve been filming weddings, creating films that capture not just what happens on the day, but the atmosphere, emotion and people that made it yours. My approach to wedding filmmaking comes from my background in cinema. Alongside my wedding work, I’ve written, directed, produced, shot and edited a number of independent feature films. My films have screened at film festivals in Ireland and internationally, receiving recognition and awards along the way.

My latest feature, Perennial Light premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival and has since screened internationally. It is now available to watch on Apple TV and Amazon Prime in Ireland and the UK. That experience has shaped the way I approach weddings. I’m interested in storytelling rather than simply recording events; looking for the small moments, gestures, expressions and details that might otherwise be missed.

A wedding film should feel like your wedding. I don’t believe in making every wedding film look the same. Every couple, family and celebration is different, so I work unobtrusively throughout the day, allowing things to happen naturally rather than constantly directing or staging moments.The result is a film that feels personal, cinematic and authentic to you. From the nervous anticipation before the ceremony to the speeches, the laughter, the dancing and all those fleeting moments in between, I want your film to bring you back to how the day actually felt.

After so many years of filming weddings, I know that the best moments are often the ones nobody plans. A look between two people. A parent watching their son or daughter. Friends laughing when they think nobody is filming. A quiet moment before the ceremony. The atmosphere of the room as the speeches begin. These are the moments I’m looking for. My job is to be there, observe, and capture them without getting in the way.
